dc.description.abstract This paper sets out a terms of reference for a potential public inquiry into the New Zealand’s building and construction sector. The objective of this potential public inquiry is to investigate the causes of significant issues in the New Zealand’s building and construction sector. Some of these significant issues currently present in the New Zealand’s building and construction sector are: (1) liability distribution; (2) inefficiency; (3) quality of the work been produced; (4) practice differs from the Building Act 2004. en_NZ
