The leisure-activities of some city children

This survey represents an inquiry into the leisure activities of some city children, the purpose being to discover the actual nature of these activities, their value to the child, and to determine whether any guidance could be safely offered. Approximately two hundred and fifty children ere included, the population of city .primary school from Std. 11. to Std. VI. Std. 1. were excluded as being too young to be trusted with completing questionnaires. As I was in my second year as a member of the staff I was able to conduct the inquiry without any of the fuss that usually accompanies external investigations.
